about us

Mission

To investigate the contemplative mind from a psychoneuroimmunoendocrine and neurophenomenological approach, understanding consciousness as an embodied process that emerges from the dynamic relationship between body, lived experience, and environment. We integrate first- and third-person methodologies to understand how practices such as meditation, nature connectedness, and psychedelic-induced states transform human consciousness — translating this knowledge into clinical, educational, and conservation tools that contribute to individual, collective, and ecosystemic wellbeing.

Vision

To become a leading Latin American reference in contemplative neuroscience and neurophenomenology, training new generations of researchers able to combine scientific rigor with first-person experience through an embodied and enactive view of the mind — and supporting the integration of these practices into mental health, education, and ecosystem conservation.
